Monday Mop-up.

  • Giants take the crown! And the crowd goes wild!!!
  • Steel Cut Oatmeal. yum! Try it. seriously.
  • Winds should not go faster than a speeding bullet. Or in excess of 90 mph in gusts.
  • Coughing. This seriously needs to stop. I am tired of it.
  • Hi. Nice to see you pop in for a second.
  • I have a great son. I left my cell on my counter when I took him to school. I just got the following txt from him. "U home ok since u forgot phone?" sigh.
  • Do you have any idea how dissapointing it is to decide to watch the next season of Ballykissangel {mentioned in last weeks mop-up where poor asumpta was bumped off. by means of accidental electrocution.} only to find as you open up the case that Disc 1 of the season is AWOL??? This is bad. It was the first time I had opened the case. I searched under the other two Discs, in all the other cases, in the DVD player and even in the Gilmore Girls Season 7 cases which were the only other DVD's I have watched recently. NO disc 1. Sigh. Amazon is now sending out a new set. Should be here tomorrow I am told. But seriously. The dissapointment! aghhhh!
  • My pool is FULL of dirt. I didn't think it was possible for it to be dirtier than it already was but I was wrong. That wind is a bitch!
  • Superbowl commercials were not impresseive. I saw 2 that stick in my head. The Sobe gekkos dancing to Michael Jackson's Thriller and Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade ballons where Stewie and Underdog are fighting for a Coke but neither get it as Charlie Brown comes from afar and finally catches one. Granted it was a coke rather than a football but still. It was during the superbowl so it still had a football tie-in. LOVED it!
  • Sooner or later, everything gives way to chocolate. Which is, after all, the natural order of things. — Nigella Lawson
  • Speaking of Gilmore Girls Season 7 {the final season}, thank goodness it ended nicely. I was not amused when season 6 ended with Lorelai in bed with Christoper. GAH! I like Luke. She needed to be with Luke. Sigh. I loves me a happy ending.
  • Smile. Make people wonder what you are up to.
  • I only used the word seriously in this post 5 x's. G'head. count them. seriously. heh!
