- Giants take the crown! And the crowd goes wild!!!
- Steel Cut Oatmeal. yum! Try it. seriously.
- Winds should not go faster than a speeding bullet. Or in excess of 90 mph in gusts.
- Coughing. This seriously needs to stop. I am tired of it.
- Hi. Nice to see you pop in for a second.
- I have a great son. I left my cell on my counter when I took him to school. I just got the following txt from him. "U home ok since u forgot phone?" sigh.
- Do you have any idea how dissapointing it is to decide to watch the next season of Ballykissangel {mentioned in last weeks mop-up where poor asumpta was bumped off. by means of accidental electrocution.} only to find as you open up the case that Disc 1 of the season is AWOL??? This is bad. It was the first time I had opened the case. I searched under the other two Discs, in all the other cases, in the DVD player and even in the Gilmore Girls Season 7 cases which were the only other DVD's I have watched recently. NO disc 1. Sigh. Amazon is now sending out a new set. Should be here tomorrow I am told. But seriously. The dissapointment! aghhhh!
- My pool is FULL of dirt. I didn't think it was possible for it to be dirtier than it already was but I was wrong. That wind is a bitch!
- Superbowl commercials were not impresseive. I saw 2 that stick in my head. The Sobe gekkos dancing to Michael Jackson's Thriller and Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade ballons where Stewie and Underdog are fighting for a Coke but neither get it as Charlie Brown comes from afar and finally catches one. Granted it was a coke rather than a football but still. It was during the superbowl so it still had a football tie-in. LOVED it!
- Sooner or later, everything gives way to chocolate. Which is, after all, the natural order of things. — Nigella Lawson
- Speaking of Gilmore Girls Season 7 {the final season}, thank goodness it ended nicely. I was not amused when season 6 ended with Lorelai in bed with Christoper. GAH! I like Luke. She needed to be with Luke. Sigh. I loves me a happy ending.
- Smile. Make people wonder what you are up to.
- I only used the word seriously in this post 5 x's. G'head. count them. seriously. heh!

the other commercial I liked was the Bridgestone tire commercial where a squirrel was out in the road getting an acorn (?!) and a car is approaching fast. He screams AHHHHHH! and then there are clips of many other woodland animals joining in - kinda like the old wassup commercials where they show everyone shouting. The car, of course, swerves to miss the squirrel thanks to the incredible traction provided by the advertisers tires (whatEV).
The Charlie Brown and the dancing lizards were my other faves. I have to admit though that I didn't get it was the Sobe lizards until long after the commercial even though they said Sobe Life Water at the end of it LOL. Spaced, passed in both lanes, left in the dust.
LMAO! What was that one with the obnoxious dog slurping out of his bowl. Whatever that was...that commercial did not make me want to go buy whatever it was they were trying to sell. NOT good. And that little baby one..for etrade. That hurling at the end ruined it for me. buh bye, etrade.

Well, chalk it up to being a guy and laughing at stupid, crude, and disgusting bodily functions but I did chuckle at the end of the etrade commercial. After the kids "burps up" he says whooooaaaa. I did like that.
The tag on the black lab was "man's best friend". I am not sure what the ad was for that the seller considered man's best friend. What good is a commercial if you remember it but don't recall what item is being sold? Superbowl commercials are more like mini movies for some advertisers these days. Coke and Budweiser always do a good job with brand recognition.
chocolate. Lent started for us to day ( Eatern rite-type Catholics we're intense!) I thought about giving up chocolate and wine... and decide it's a part of the survival kit... this year.
When you watch American tv they superimpose Canadian commercials instead... so... I got nuthin here... except to say... the squirrels should have died. Nasty rodents.
Did I mention my kid *borrowed* my cell phone the past couple of weeks. I don't have a text plan... guess what... 2765 texts sent in two.5 weeks and $387.00 later....... Now HOW am I gonna talk my way out of THIS one...
I couldn't get in Ballykissangel... must do you like and perhaps watch the entire thing non stop... might help eh?
Never saw a single episode of GG either... though lots of the girls I know... did! hmmm clearly missing something...
t
GAH! T! That is not good about the cellphone. OMG! No more cell for that child.
I love both Ballykiss and Gilmore Girls. and Friends. Those are my 3 most favs.
