On the 5th Day of Christmas

my gift to you is five of my favorite quotes.

  1. the most wasted of all days is one without laughter. ~ e.e.cummings
  2. Do all the good you can,By all the means you can,In all the ways you can,In all the places you can,At all the times you can,For all the people you can,As long as ever you can ~ John Wesley's Rule
  3. The fire of anger only burns the angry. {Chinese Proverb}
  4. And in the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter, and sharing of pleasures. For in the dew of little things the heart finds its morning and is refreshed. ~ Kahlil Gibran
  5. 3 out of 5 people are not the other 2.
Merry Christmas!

with love,

I am not sure how to apply that last one to life but it is good to know all the same :-)

Merry Christmas.

Happy New Year Blondie, Rudy and families!

I got a new toy from the people I work for! Yup, I'm sitting watching the snow flakes fall in the comfort of home!

Trusting you had a wonderful Christmas and that you are looking forward to 2008, it's sure to be great!

Tonight, New Year's Eve I'm running in a 10K fun run called the Resolution Run, then staying downtown in Les Suites with friends and having a potluck dinner, hot tub, sauna and champagne!

Have a wonderful New Year and send lots of love and prayers to T and her daughter (both daughters please). Here's hoping that 2008 will bring them health, happiness and much love. Strength to you T.

Blondie and Rudy, I look forward to many more days of laughter and friendship....all the very best for the new year to you and your families....

Much love,
Lily

I'll let you know when I'm set up with e-mail.....

OMG!

Lily is computing from home?!? LOL

ugh, I was down with the flu for Christmas. Other than that, it was nice.

Have fun on your run, Lily. It sounds like the after run activities will be more fun.

I, also, look forward to many more days of friendship, laughter and general silliness.

I wish everyone a new year of health, happiness and love. May we all remember what should be remembered and forget what needs to be forgotten. Here's to a new year with high hopes and great expectations that are generously met and exceeded by Grace from above.

Happy New Year my friends.
