Monday Mop-up.

• 1st semester is over and it appears that the kid has passed! What a hellish first semester this has been.
• Rain. Desert Dwellers don't know how to deal with rain. *I shake my head*
• Ok, seriously. WTF is this practice of killing off major characters in shows? If the actor is leaving just send them off to a far away land. Don't kill them off. Especially by means of electrocution. and when said character's life seems to be getting what she {and he} really wanted. Poor Assumpta. Poor Peter. {yes, I am too wrapped up in the drama but don't you judge me! heh!}
• Everything is not about you.
• Speaking of rain, when it rains trying to get from here to there is quite the challenge. Whoever decided it was a good idea to build low-lying roads through the washes.....well....just....IDIOTS!!
• It appears that this illness I have been having so much fun with over the past week is slowly going away. yay! This is good because I am seriously tired of coughing.
• I miss my momma. Flipping channels last night and discovering that Ice Skating was on only served to remind me that she is no longer with us. In the past I would have phoned her up to make sure she knew it was on and chatted with her about what the skaters looked like. I miss her so very much. *sigh*
• The kid is bored in school. Big surprise. Huge. He is texting me with nonsense. Dork!
• 2008, thus far, isn't really all that great.
• {edited to add} My Brain Age as of this morning is 40. My brain is 6 years younger than my body. That's good, right?
