Yesterday we decided that we must have In-N-Out hamburgers for lunch today. A perfect day since the kid has early release which means I pick him up @ 1150. Just in time for lunch. We picked him up, went to the grocery and then I dropped the boys at home whilst I went out for burgers.
There is only one In-N-Out in the valley and it is busy regardless of the time of day. Lunchtime is extremely busy. As I am pulling into the parking lot I am met with the traffic I knew I would be. What I did not anticipate was the In-N-Out worker guy out in the parking lot with his wireless ordering device. This set up allows me to place my order about 4 cars sooner than I would using the regular drive up ordering device.
I stop and he politely asks me what I would like. I give him my order. He confirms and then asks "will you be eating this in your car?" Now, I am clearly the only one in the car. And I have ordered a lot of food. He has a full view of the entire interior from where he is standing. And he asks me if I am going to eat in my car. I am only one small blonde.
Does he really think that
I can eat all this food by myself?
In spite of the smart-assed comeback tickling my tongue I just smiled and responded with a "no" and a shake of my head.In-N-Out:

Now THAT's What a Hamburger's All About!
