I just do.

I love my new pink phone. I just do. Its cute and pink. Pink is my signature colour. What's not to love? Well, I can answer that in one sentence. The ringtones that came with it, that's what is not to love. Other than the *siren* tone which is set to the kid's number they all just suck. {okay the *hello moto* one is amusing but confusing when set to be one's main ring tone.} To remedy this I went in search of ringtones this afternoon.

This was so much more complicated than I felt it should be but most of that was the fact that my stupid phone refused to connect to the internets. WTF? It connected yesterday. I guess I should have downloaded ringtones yesterday when I was actually connected. {*i roll my eyes*} After repeated attempts from different locations throughout my house I decided to do what I probably should have done after the second attempt. I rebooted the phone. Of course it connected once I did that.

I knew what I was looking for. I wanted the old-fashioned telephone ring tone. I had it on my last phone, which is not to be confused with my ghetto phone. I have been using the ghetto phone for the past year because I broke the new phone. But I digress. It was a great tone. I really needed it for my phone.

On my way to locating the old-fashioned ring tone I came across the best ring tone. One that any Sun Devil fan would be proud and very happy to own. Yes, you guessed it. I found Maroon and Gold! WOOT! I had to have it. I think they might have kicked me out of Sun Devil Nation if I had refused to purchase it. heh heh! Go Devils!

I am now the happy owner of a new pink cell phone as well as two new ringtones. Yes, I found my old-fashioned tone as well!

I set Maroon and Gold as my default tone. It makes me happy. After setting it I picked up the house line and phoned myself to hear my new tone. I did a little dance while my kid watched with an eyebrow raised and an attempt to choke back a laugh. I didn't care. I was a happy blondie!

After hanging up the house line I open up my cell phone. I was slightly confused and said out loud. "What? I have a missed call? I wonder who........Ohhhh. That was ME." At this point the kid indeed laughs out loud and shaking his head says "does Rudy know just HOW blonde you really are?"

Laughing, I left the room taking my phone with it's new ring tones with me. As I did I said over my shoulder "I don't know if he knows."

"I am just easing him in."
