What's been your worst experience at a restaurant?
While on a layover in Paris, my friend and I went out to dinner. Norm had been taking a course in French and was adement about doing the ordering for the whole table.
The waiter, while taking the order kept looking at all of us, but kept on writing....we ended up eating "bunny pate", and various and sundry entrails, along with brain.....ahhhh, those Parisians...

What's been your worst experience at a restaurant?
That would be tonight since it is fresh in my memory. Hitting the drive through after a show at my son's school. It is never a good sign when they ask you to pull up and wait. So we waited. And waited. And waited. Then I got pissed, took the receipt and stomped inside demanding to know why I was kept waiting for 15 minutes and where the HELL is my food? I got some lame song and dance about the grill to which I replied that it didn't matter because I had still been waiting way too long and that I was angry. The poor guy got my food really fast, up-sized my fries and added an extra burger. I won't be going back for a while. I am still SO not amused!

Merry-go-round for sure. Life is exciting enough without putting myself on a rollercoaster on purpose.

What? Me obsessively compulsive about something? HA! Well, unless you consider that my bed must be made just so. {stop laughing at me, Rudy} Or that I don't like anything in the garbage cans in the bathrooms. period. {and no, I don't know why I have them in there if I can't stand knowing that there is something in there.} Don't you judge me. heh!

I always wanted an Easy Bake Oven as a child and each year asked for one and hoped I would finally get one. Not so much. Cut to my adult years where my Momma decided that I should have one after all and presented both my sister and myself with one for Christmas. I was doing a happy dance!

The clothes thing sounds like something I might do.
Brings to mind my son's closet. I have three different colours of hangers in there. Red for his fire related clothes, dark blue for his school clothes and white for everything else. HE says I am anal about it. But hey...he knows what colour hanger to go to depending upon what he is looking for. Sheesh! I am just saving him time having to dig through the entire closet. Thats not anal, right? Thats just being helpful! {at least that's MY story! heh!}

Hah, Easy Bake Oven, all I wanted was a Tonka Truck that pulled the Horse Trailer.....geez, did I miss out on something in life without the EBO?

Appetizer ~ It wasn't so much as a restaurant as a snack bar on base. We had just traveled from AK to MS by car and trailer and the housing arrangements that were made for me were mistakenly made. I was sitting there with a 1 year old, a 2 year old and a wife with a over packed car and a trailer full of belongings and not place to live for the next 3 months. The first two apartments we had stopped at wouldn't let us into a small apartment because the children were opposite sex and required their own rooms. I was crushed and felt like I had failed them.
Soup ~ I used to ride roller coasters but it has been a long time since I have been on one.
Salad ~ Checking to see that the garage door did indeed go down. I circle back to check that more than I care to admit.
Dinner ~ I can only remember that as a teen I wanted a remote control car. I bought my own after I got out on my own :-)
Dessert ~ to water the plants (as I am leaving on vacay)
that is hysterical about the easy bake oven! I don't know why she wouldn't buy me one. I was a fortunate kid to pretty much get what I asked for for Christmas from Santa. One toy only and now that I think about it, I am sure my mom swayed us in certain ways.
So... I got my daughters an EBO for Christmas and probably spent more time with it then they did!
I guess the only thing I might be compulsive about is making sure the iron is turned off and unplugged after I use it. well yeah.. and making sure the spices stay in alpha order in the cupboard, or and the knives all have to point the same way, ... oh yeah and the dishes go in colour by size.....
