I am not really a creative or talented photographer. On the other hand, I suppose I am like the majority of people and not really comfortable with images of myself. Take the picture it is.

I must be getting old. There never used to be such a thing as too loud. Having spent many hours in Adoration and been on a silent retreat or two I would no longer say there is such a thing as too quiet. There is too loud now so that is the worst of the two.

I would like to say false, that honor and nobility and chivalry still have a place. However, one needs only to look at the news and hear of the attrocities and acts of terrorism to know that isn't true. The world also seems to be full of those who would undermine and actively try to disrupt and destabilize good and growing relationships for their own selfish gains. There are some who sink so low as to combine the two. I think these are by far the worst of the lot, when our soldiers are away fighting and the scum take advantage of those left at home. I would have to reluctantly say it is true.

too quiet. I can block out the noise but I can't block out the quiet.

True. While this was meant as a humourous question the seriousness of it rings true as well. While I can see nothing fair in war {or love} we have to act and react based on the actions of others. I think we need to go back to the 60's and Make Love, Not War. *shrugs*
