I fill the champagne flute with champagne until it is about half {give or take} {{okay, mostly take but whatEV}} and then fill remaining space with OJuice.
We had Mimosa's for Breakfast on New Year's Day too!! Oh gawd, along with Smoore's coffee! Yikes such athletes!!
We had a wonderful run on New Year's Eve....there were sooo many people out for the run it was amazing and amazing too, so many volunteers supporting us by diverting traffic, handing out beverages (sans alcohol) and in general being there to cheer us on. It was a cold and bright night.
I, of course, wore my tiarra and had my wand with bells and streamers....I lent my tiarra to a friend who didn't have one to wear, so I ended up with my flashing LED rubber sputnik necklace...and wand...too much fun!
We ran along the canal and saw the beautiful Christmas lights from Parliament Hill and the fire works for the 200th year anniversary of Ottawa becoming Canada's Capital, it was truly stunning.
Well, cheers to you for a GREAT 2008! Hold your champagne flutes high!
