we will always remember.

I hate shopping. If you know me you know this. Those of you who don't know me...well....I hate seriously hate shopping.

That being established I am sure you all know how very excited I was to go shopping yesterday with my daughter. {feel the sarcasm, my friends} It's not the spending time with my daughter that is the problem. I love doing that. It's the SHOPPING! As we are traveling down the freeway we are laughing and chattering away and the time passes quickly.

Then my daughter turns to me and says "Have we passed the mall?" LMAO! I look around and say "I think we may have." WTF? We are baffled as to how we managed to do that. It's not like we were talking and laughing all that much. Or were we??? We drive for a bit more and see another mall which we KNOW is farther West than the one we were planning to go to. We decided to hit that mall 1.we were there. b. So was the mall. and iii. we needed a ladies room. And who knows, I might actually find a dress there and we could just go home after that.

Well, no such luck on the dress thing and we did not like this mall at all. We commented many times that we could not figure out what the mystique was that supposedly surrounds this mall. It is "the" mall to go to. WhatEV. I think the people who think that are smoking something.

Leaving the mall we head back the way we came and soon arrive in the area of our original destination. I say "so what exit are we looking for exactly?" She laughs and says "I can't remember." LMAO! This is truly a case of the blonde leading the blonde.

We start concentrating on exits and see one labeled "Haven." That sounds good. It makes perfect sense. It should be the exit because the Mall is our Haven. Right?
NOT! *giggle*

We got off on Haven and it all kinda looks familiar. Or does it? We see a sign that says "mall this way" and follow it. We don't see the mall. We keep seeing the sign as we drive. We must be going the right way. Then we see it. YAY! And we see the exit sign. It was the exact one we debated in the beginning and decided that it was not the right one. Milliken. Not Haven.

Silly blonde girls. We should have trusted our instinct. After all....Everyone knows that the Mall could never be MY Haven seeing as I hate to shop. We will never forget the exit for the mall. Our shopping trip was completely unsuccessful but we will always remember that:

The Mall is our Milliken. {can you hear the blondes giggling???}

oh NO *she gasps!* you don't like shopping? seriously? We are not compatible for marriage... (in spite of all other previous blog notes!) it would NEVER work.

I am despondent... says she who is looking forward to her trip for a wedding, but almost *more* important.. are the critical field trips to BOTH Nordstrom AND Target...it's positively an orgasmic shopping experience I feel coming on... and you... (she sighs heavily) don't feel it??? another heavy sigh... and I was counting on you, dearest Blondie one.. to scope things out for me...
I shall manage... I will shop Nordstrom and Target... solo.. some how...

After the shopping is done... will you have drinks ready to pour, KAY?

Hey T, I am an excellent shopping partner, I hold purses, jackets, purchases, wait patiently.

You would have to pry me away from you know who though. Good luck with that LMAO

then again, if you are gone shopping you won't be there to ..... well you know LOL

Blondie, Is milliken like a mulligan? a do over? a second chance? another opportunity to put things right?

It was, after all, the second exit. And on the second trip to find the mall at that LOL

Rudy,

I don't know what a milliken is other than an avenue and the way to the mall.

I have had to shop way too much over the past two days. I don't want to think about it. Would you make me a drink? I need one.

LOL!!! I don't know Rudy... shopping with a man.... just isn't quite the same... the whole coming into the change room thing and all... but ... I could be persuaded... but then again... what do we do with The Blonde????
Perhaps I can teach her that shopping CAN be more fun than Football... really... truly....

FORKING over cash for a cute little number could be as much fun - if not more than fork em in the cute little football tight ends!

You are not going to make that work T. I know, one of my sisters has a serious football problem as well.

Now, maybe we could make it a threesome ;-) if I promised to wait on you two hand and foot when returned. As in hand you drinks and rub your feet LMAO.

However, it cannot be on game day. This much I am sure of. Besides, day after the wedding is Vikings vs Cowboys so you know it will be a contact spectator sport.

my advice is don't wear purple or blue that day LOL ( unless you go with blue ;-)

bitchin' word ver = uazxxox
