What is wrong with these birds?

Tonight while researching viewing options on TV we came across Hitchcock's "The Birds." My son requested that we watch the movie so we did.
It has been 39 years since I have seen this movie. Okay, parts of this movie. Which I sneak-watched after momma told me that I was absolutely not going to watch this movie as it was not appropriate for a 6 year old.
I was a bit tenacious back then {NO comments from the peanut gallery!} and I was determined to see what this movie was all about. My bedroom was just down the hall from the living room and if I laid with my head at the foot of my bed I could see the TV. Which is exactly what I did. GAH! It freaked me out then and I was not real thrilled with it tonight. I believe that my "sneak-watch" from back in the day is why flying things now freak me out!
After watching the last half of this movie tonight all I seriously want to know is: What is wrong with these birds??? Well, that and when it is going to come on again so I can avoid putting that channel up so that the kid sees that it is on again.
Does anyone know what is wrong with these birds???

I think we must have both been watching The Birds the other night.
Watched it with my younger one a couple of years ago.
Creeps me right out. Every time I see a huge flock of birds somewhere... I get nervous. Even the pic you have up there makes me want to take cover!
The birds were mad at the humans... today, we'd say it must have something to do with environmental change. Hitchcock was himself a weird kind of bird. He was going on creep value I think.

The Birds. Jurassic Park. Maybe the question is "What is wrong with us?"
I don't know about "us" but I am an adorable little weirdo (not blue though) with the humor of a randy 12 year old. Some might consider that wrong but I have fun with it especially when I can get T to roll her eyes at me. (can't wait to meet, T :-)
I haven't seen The Birds maybe they were just hungry and the drive through at McD's was closed? Had they invented drive throughs back then? The local restaurant may have been "no shoes, no shirt, no service" and they were stuck without even Heckle and Jeckle's spats.
Okay, seriously. Do you think that the birds know that I watched "The Birds" last night? I was just looking out front and my yard was covered with no less than 9 birds and at one point there was a full dozen. {as opposed to a bakers dozen, which would then lead to blackbirds baked in a pie...but I digress.}
I SO wanted to go out and take a photo but I was afraid of the numbers. The cats and I stayed safe on the inside. Or were we safe? If you have seen the movie you know that being inside most certainly does not insure your safety as these birds will break their way in even through the roof or the walls or the windows. GAH!
Do you think it was a bad idea to watch the movie????
Have I mentioned that flying things freak me out?

Interesting. Jurrassic Park. And then there is that dog, Cujo. Seriously, what is wrong with that dog???
Personally I never did anything to any of them. Hopefully that means that all dinosaurs, flying angry birds and rabid dogs will leave me alone.

And how come the Love Birds didn't attack anyone. I fully expected them to break the bars on their cage and attack the people.
Seriously. What was wrong with those birds???

The birds were mad at the humans...
What were they mad about? I missed the first half. All I know is that the people in the diner were blaming the blonde woman. {hey, WTF are they blaming the blonde for? She was the nicest one there, imho.}

Ah, so there was a diner involved. I'll bet they were serving birds but not in the good way.
LOL
LMAO @ Rudy!
I think this goes beyond wanting dinner from McDonalds.
But Gonzo is the weirdo. {according to my kids anyways} I do know it is often your goal to see if you can get T to roll her eyes at you. You are good at getting her to do that. And humour is rarely wrong. It is good to laugh. Very good!

Are you a "nice" blonde? ;-)
HEY! shut UP!

What?!?
What did you think I meant by "nice"?
Oh, you were probably right. LMAO
I guess you know me well, Babes.
