4) amuse us
The amusing part comprises our love for sports on TV and watching the Godfather and SlapShot 200 times. Money, food/drink, sex, and amusement. That's it. We're THAT basic."
I read the above quote earlier this week and have been pondering it since then. I figure it is worth getting your perspective on the subject.
So tell me guys, IS this true?

Hmmm, I seem to have recently read where we're even more basic than that - I'll have to go find the quote...
Oh, yeah, "eat, sleep, crap, and sex. Men in a nutshell". That was the quote.
Then again there is Chris Rock's description "Food, Sex, Silence"
Personally, I believe I have a bit more depth to me than that. But then again, I am invisible (or is that transparent?)

Then again, after some thought, it occurs to me that there was a pretty smart guy that figured out that there are 5 basic human needs.
Maslow's hierarchy of needs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maslow's_hierarchy_of_needs) discusses them, and self-actualization, to me, is where "amuse us" would fall. Esteem (and to some degree, safety) is where "pay me" would be placed. "Feed me" would be in the category of Physiological needs, and "F**k me" would fall into either (or both) Love/belonging and Physiological.
I'm thinking that women are that "basic" as well, but that they also have more "cross category" links than men.
And that's my more serious answer.
hmm how many more of the them can we lure over here to provide the bonde grasshopper with some learned philosophical approaches?
I for one need to go the bar I missed yesterday and find the Scotch section... before I contemplate the answers from my own female perspective.... but my hunch is... yeah... that basic... Maslow notwithstanding

Now cis in your case the sports thing is already there. I know you can cook...you are amusing and if we can get your ex to pay us we are golden!
